Ncell, the country’s first private GSM operator, has announced that it will invest US$ 100 million (Rs 7.15 billion) in 2011 to become a leading telecom operator in Nepal.

While speaking at a program organised to mark the setting up of the 3G base station in the Everest Region, Lars Nyberg, the CEO and President of TeliaSonera, said, “The company is inclined towards becoming a leading operator in each market where it has presence.”
