Kathmandu, 16 March: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala has reiterated her stance to hand over the contract of printing Machine Readable Passport (MRP) to Indian company without a tender, reports Chalphal weekly.Sujata reiterated her stance after returning to the nation from her trip to Europe on Thursday.Koirala has left for Europe tour by spreading the illusion that Foreign Ministry and Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee were at loggerheads regarding the MRP issue. Sujata included the president of the Accounts Committee in her entourage two days prior to leaving. The member of the Committee had accused her of trying to influence their president. The Committee has explicitly directed the Foreign Ministry to head to competition with the other companies from different nations.People’s News/Uttam Shrestha
